Seedlings Programs

The Seedlings program at Pine’s Learning Center cares for infants 6 weeks to 11 months in a safe, nurturing infant childcare environment in Northwest Houston (77064). Our experienced infant teachers support each child’s emotional, physical, and cognitive growth through age-appropriate activities, helping your baby learn, grow, and thrive at our trusted infant daycare program.

Ratio: Our infant daycare classroom maintains a low 1:3 teacher-to-child ratio, ensuring each baby receives personalized attention and nurturing care in a safe, loving environment.
Schedule: Each little one has their own eating and sleeping schedule, and we cater to each child’s needs while providing stimulating interaction.

Stimulating Environment: Our childcare center offers a warm, engaging space filled with age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and learning. Each little one feels safe, secure, and loved as they grow and discover the world around them.

12 MONTHS - 23 MONTHS

SPROUTS PROGRAM

The Sprouts classroom enhances and supports the development of children aged 12-23 months. Our toddler daycare program provides a safe and stimulating environment that encourages exploration, play, and social
interaction.

Key Features

Physical Development

  • Time for walking, climbing, and dancing.
  • Playing with puzzles, blocks, stacking and nesting toys, and lacing materials to develop fine moto skills.
  • Sand and water play, as well as other sensory activities, with close supervision.
  • Shape or color sorting toys.

Cognitive Development

  • Puzzles, shape sorters, trains, and blocks to build small motor skills.
  • Books, pattern making materials, matching, and interlocking toys that can be taken apart and put
  • back together.
  • Matching cards and smelling jars.

Language Development

  • Expand on children’s words, play word games, read, sing, and use gestures to communicate.
  • Flannel board stories, records, tapes, and nursery rhymes.

Social and Emotional Development

  • Imaginary play opportunities, such as dolls, toy kitchens, and dress-up clothes.
  • Parent discussion with a parent educator.
  • Small class size with a low student-to-teacher ratio.

Health and Safety

  • Provide a clean and well-maintained environment.
  • Follow proper hygiene practices, including regular handwashing and sanitizing of toys and surfaces.
  • Ensure that all children are up to date on their immunizations.

23 MONTHS - 35 MONTHS

PINE-O-NEERS PROGRAM

The Seedlings room is specifically designed to enhance the development of children aged 23-35 months old. This classroom serves as a foundation for their transition to the high-level learning Toddler 2 classroom.

Transition Activities: We incorporate transition activities to help toddlers navigate between different tasks and locations, such as using fun songs, transition objects, and larger objects for group transitions.
Learning Centers: Our classroom is divided into various learning centers, including a home center, quiet area, art area, and sensory area, to promote independent exploration and learning.

Fine and Gross Motor Skills Development: We offer age-appropriate activities that help toddlers develop their fine and gross motor skills, such as puzzles, building blocks, and outdoor play equipment.
